Course Overview

This course will highlight the environmental challenges we face and focus on practical ways in which to identify aspects and impacts and risk mitigation. Delegates will be able to identify operational inputs and outputs and learn how to conduct a life cycle analysis based on business processes.

This course is designed for managers, team leaders and those who have an interest in managing workplace environmental performance.

What to expect

This course is an introduction to environmental best practices and will explain the legal and moral obligations for managing impacts to the environment. The course will cover:

Introduction to environmental challenges
Overview of environmental legislation and enforcement
How to identify site aspects and impacts
Introduction to environmental impacts assessments
Introduction to ISO14001 EMS and emergency preparedness
Group practical exercise to identify organisational impacts and risk mitigation

Course Delivery and Costs

For best results, we recommend that this course is delivered onsite for up to a maximum of 10 delegates. We also deliver this as an open course that is delivered over Microsoft Teams. All delegates who attend will be provided login details to access training material and will be able to organise a Teams call with the tutor before and after the course delivery.
